Saroj Khan, India’s famous choreographer, has died at the age of 71.
Khan died of cardiac arrest in hospital in Mumbai city. She was admitted to hospital last month after she complained of breathlessness where she tested negative for Covid-19.
The three-time National Award winner had choreographed some of the most memorable songs in Hindi cinema.
Her last rites will be conducted in Mumbai’s Malad today.
