30 June, Kathmandu
NCP Chairman Puhspa Kamal Dahal said Prime minister KP Sharma Oli to resign from both the party chairmanship and prime minister.
On today’s standing committee meeting, Dahal said that Oli’s claims of India trying to oust him has undermined the party’s prestige. He added that Oli’s claims also demand his resignation.
On a program organized to mark the birth anniversary of Madan Bhandari, PM Oli had claimed the media and intellectual discourse in Delhi, activities of the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu and meetings in hotels show what is being done to remove him.
To the reply for Oli’s claims, Dahal said On Tuesday’s meeting, Delhi is not asking for Oli’s resignation, instead, I had asked for his resignation.
