Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has accused India of trying to topple his government. He has made it clear that Nepal’s nationality is not that weak. He has warned India to not try to topple his government for issuing the new map.
Addressing a gathering at his official residence in memory of the late communist leader Madan Bhandari, Oli said that the ouster plans will fail. He claimed the media and intellectual discourse in Delhi, activities of the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu show what is being done to remove him.
He recalled the time when he was Prime Minister for the last time, he was removed after signing a trade and transit agreement with China. He said that now when Nepal is trying to bring back its land, India is trying to remove him again.
Oli said, “Nepal’s leaders are also involved. There is a discussion that KP Oli should be removed right now.” He added, “We’ve not the weak nationality that the government changes when it releases the new map of the country by incorporating encroached lands.”
He said, “Nepal is not a yam between the two boulders. It is an independent sovereign nation with prestigious history. We can get transport facility from both countries. We have taken Nepal to a new height by signing agreement with China.”
PM Oli requested to criticize government only after observing the activities closely. He said that in politics, he doesn’t rule, he serves country and people. He asked for suggestion if he makes any mistake.
Prime Minister Oli said that he doesn’t want to remain in the post. However, he said that in his absence, no one would dare to speak on behalf of Nepal from tomorrow.
