The Ministry of Agriculture has said the farmers not to panic saying that the herd of locusts seen in Nepal is small and it has not caused much damage.
Agriculture Minister Ghanshyam Bhushal is holding a press conference on Sunday to inform about the entry of locusts and its current condition. He is going to give detailed information about the locusts entering Nepal, the district where the locusts have reached, the possible journey and the damage caused by it.
Bhushal is going to give information about this after a discussion with experts at the Ministry today.Minister Bhusal said that a hotline would be set up to get information about locusts.
The Ministry of Agriculture has stated that the locusts will be controlled by coordinating with the Home and Disaster Management Committee.
