The COVID-19 response programme has been launched for management of quarantine and isolation centres in Dhangadhi Sub Metropolitan City.
The sub metropolitan city informed that the programme was launched to manage drinking water facility, sanitation and dispose wastes in the centres. The GIZ, an INGO and Red Cross Society Kailali chapter has jointly initiated the bid in order to improve the quarantine and isolation centres.
Mayor Nripa Bahadur Wad said that Rs 6.4 million would be utilized for the purpose. Also, the Red Cross Society chapter chair Uttam Joshi informed that they held coordination meeting with sub metropolitan city for the purpose today.
