A police inspector of Lalitpur has been taken under control on suspicion of being involved in drug trafficking.
On Thursday, Narcotics Control Bureau of Nepal Police arrested a police inspector Rudra Shahi, working at the Metropolitan Police Range, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. It was informed that the bureau has started drug related operation from Wednesday.
During an operation at Pepsicola of Kathmandu yesterday, police had confiscated over 600 bottles of corex. Based on the information provided by the people arrested yesterday, Shahi was also arrested, bureau informed.
