Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population asserted, 586 cases of coronavirus today. With this, tally has climbed to 7177 of active COVID-19 cases. Out of the infected, 546 persons are males and 40 are females. The new cases of virus infection were detected in the following districts:
· Udayapur,
· Morang,
· Jhapa,
· Dhanusa,
· Mahottari,
· Bara,
· Rautahat,
· Kapilvastu,
· Rupandehi,
· Sarlahi,
· Pyuthan,
· Argakhanchi,
· Kailali,
· Parbat,
· Nawalparasi (East),
· Gulmi,
· Banke,
· Bardiya,
· Dang,
· Salyan,
· Surkhet,
· Dailekh,
· Kalikot
· Kanchanpur,
Likewise, Spokesperson Dr. Gautam mentioned, “6,037 samples have been tested through PCR and 367,257 samples have been tested for coronavirus in Nepal so far. Of these, 143,738 samples were tested through the PCR and 233543 through the RDT.”
Currently, 5,990 people are in isolation and 125,798 are in quarantines across the country. The death toll climbed to 20 and1167 returned home after getting treated and recovered from Covid-19 across the country.
