Neither safe by life nor by the body in the quarantine facility. Where people have accused the facility as the death hole, it has gone further from it, now even women are not safe in it.
On Saturday night, the news was broadcasted that a woman, who was staying at a quarantine facility in Lamki Chuha Municipality-1, Kailali, was purportedly gang-raped.
The rape victim disclosed the information to police mentioning that she was raped at Shahid Smriti Secondary School (quarantine facility) by three volunteers.
Police versed, “all the accused have been arrested earlier on Sunday. Those arrested have been identified as Kishor Pariyar, 20, Laxman BK, 20 and Sarjan BK, 18.”
Likewise, Uttam Subedi (Chief at the Sudur Paschim Provincial Police Office) said, “the victim had filed a case against the three accused. “We have launched an investigation into the case after. And they are yet to receive detailed information about the rape case.”
