Kathmandu, June 14
It’s time to get started with studies as well. After almost 3 months of vacation, it’s for kids to get going with their studies but in schools. Yes you heard it right! So far, there is no sign of control of coronavirus and in this situation, operating school would not be a wise decision. So, the government has stepped up to introduce regular television shows targeting school children from the first to the 10th grades.
“We have already published a schedule for 1-10th grades. The schedule is available on the center’s website,” informs Tulasi Prasad Thapaliya, the director-general of the Centre for Education and Human Resource Development under the Ministry of Education.
As per the schedule, the government will be operating NTV+ channel for the students of grade one to eight and channels of Dish Home, NET TV, and Max TV for the students of the ninth and 10th grades. 9th and 10th-grade students are suggested to watch ‘School Education’ as of now. Moreover, the shows have been scheduled for one month. As per the information, many local government authorities are taking the help of local FM stations to teach children. Likewise, Radio Nepal and Kantipur FM will also begin their shows from tomorrow.
