The Greek officials said, “the country will not limit arriving airline passengers next month to people coming from 29 countries but that traveler who departed from places that aren’t on the initial list will be subject to mandatory testing for the coronavirus upon arrival and a quarantine period of one or two weeks.”
Greece is welcoming visitors in the summer vacation season. The country’s second-largest city Thessaloniki, will allow international flights from June 15. People belonging to Albania, Australia, Austria, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Estonia, Japan, Israel, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lebanon, New Zealand, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, Norway, South Korea, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, and Finland will be welcome and will go through random testing.
From July 1, all Greek airports able to handle international traffic will resume flights from abroad. Also, international arrivals by sea and land will also be allowed as of July 1 and will have to go through random testing.
