To this growing crisis, Nepal has outraged 444 COVID-19 cases. The third death was confirmed by the hospital’s operator, Durga Pandey, on Wednesday, 20th May.
The reported death was of a 41-year-old man from Madane rural municipality of Gulmi district. He was treated at Crimson Hospital of Manigram in the Rupandehi district. He was tested positive on this Monday. Earlier to this, he was admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital on Thursday (May 14). Then, he was put on a ventilator when the health officials confirmed coronavirus infection in him.
He was the principal of a local school. He visited the hospital when he was experiencing a fever for a week. To this, local health workers had prescribed some medicines of typhoid to him, which worked for a few days. However, his situation started to get serious and he began vomiting. So he was rushed to different health facilities to the Manigram-based hospital.
