During the outrageous outbreak of coronavirus where people are fighting against their lives, and not stepping out of the house. The nature is having its time where it’s healing and revitalizing. Why do we say this? This is because Kathmandu apparently spotted the magnificent Mount Everest being 200 km away.
The world’s highest peak is clearly visible as the level of pollution is tremendously decreased due to people restricted themselves to their homes to maintain social distancing in COVID-19 spread. Looking at the positive side, people in Kathmandu were lucky to have a glimpse of truly spectacular views of snow-capped peaks. The following pictures were captured from Chihandada in Chobar by freelance photographer Abhushan Gautam.

The #COVID19Lockdown has cleaned the air over #Nepal and northern #India. So much so that for the first time in many years, Mt #Everest can be seen again from #Kathmandu Valley even though it is 200km away.
