27 new COVID-19 infected cases have been recorded by the Ministry of Health and Population in Nepal, taking the count of infected cases to 402 and out of which 37 have recovered.
Spokesperson Dr. Bikash Devokta broadcasted that 9 people were from Jhapa, 4 from Kapilvastu, 1 from Morang, 1 from Sunsari, 3 from Kathmandu, 1 each from Makawanpur, Ramechhap, Lalitpur, and Nawalparasi have been tested positive for COVID-19. He also mentioned that 24 of the infected people were men and 3 were female.
Let’s update you with the current situation of COVID-19 cases in Nepal. Banke is the worst-hit district with 91 cases while Kapilvastu has 46 cases, Udaypur has 33 cases, Rupandehi district with 28 cases, Rautahat has 22 and 7 each case in Kathmandu and Dhanusa.
Likewise, Kailali, Dang, and Bara have 4 cases each. 3 cases each in Chitwan, Sunsari, Sarlahi, Morang, Dhading and Mahottari. 2 cases in Bardiya and Bhaktapur. Jhapa has 12 cases.
Similarly, 1 each case has been detected in Gulmi, Dhankuta, Bhojpur, Saptari, Siraha, Kanchanpur, Nawalparasi (West), Nawalparasi (East), Kavre, Sindhupalchok, and Makwanpur.
According to the ministry the news of 42-year-old person being discharged from Biratnagar Hospital after recovery was announced.
