The administration takes additional steps to control increasing infected cases in the Kathmandu Valley. Chief district officers of three districts of the Kathmandu Valley have advised the government to shut all government offices in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur for at least 15 days. The services of essential services will be allowed. They have sent their suggestions to the high-level coronavirus control committee led by Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel via the Ministry of Home Affairs. Bhaktapur Chief District Officer, Hum Kala Pandey says the officials concurred that the lockdown restrictions should be executed strictly as before.
