15 passenger train services to begin today in India

The good news for the all the people who have been stuck to different places and were seeking ways to reach back home. The Indian Railways has started train ticket booking online. Book your tickets really soon, as they are having limited categories.

Below mentioned information will help you know about the special train operating during lock down.

• Ticket booking for special trains has begun at 4 pm, 11th May, booking accepted only on the IRCTC website or app, strictly no counter tickets
• Initially special train has limited its destinations to 15 destinations.
• It started operating from today, 12th May.
• The fare of these train is same as Rajdhani because all the trains will have only AC coaches.
• The good news for workers and other needy people is that Sharamik Special Trainwill continue as before. And just like before, laborers will be transported to their destinations as well.
• Note it well, Tickets in Tatkal or Premium Tatkal is not available for the trains operating during lock down. So the tickets will have to be booked in limited categories.
• Passengers are supposed to wear mask during their journey.
• Passenger will have to maintain social distancing.
• Passengers are supposed to arrive 90 minutes before the scheduled train timing.
• Also, no curtains and blankets will be provided in train. Passengers are requested to carry one for themselves.
